Jamie and X coming to Eureka.
It may be awkward for X-23 and Jamie, transitioning from Milliways to Eureka. SARAH herself does not notice much of anything when she moves back and forth, but she advised her two guests to sit down on the living room couch before they left the bar.
"Exterior sensors have resumed function," SARAH announces. "Welcome to Eureka."

"Anything?"
no subject
"I'll have spaghetti."
Beat.
"Thanks. Jamie?"
no subject
no subject
"Want that sandwich warmed? Any drinks?"
no subject
X would eat it, though. If she had to.
"I'll have a Coke, thanks."
Beat.
"Pepsi is okay, too."
no subject
He beams back at Vincent. "Not warmed is okay, thanks. And I'll have Coke or Pepsi too."
no subject
"And where are you living?"
no subject
"Mom's looking to move into Eureka Gardens. Jamie got really annoying, so she made us leave."
no subject
Jamie glares at his 'sister'.
(And takes a mental note, meanwhile: 'Mom', not 'Mum'.)
no subject
Though it seems to be becoming one.
no subject
There.
"GD, right? I think? She said to bill it to Fargo, anyway. Is he the one with the glasses?"
no subject
no subject
"That'd be him. Thanks, I'll go put your orders in."
Tucking his pad back into his apron pocket, Vincent drops off two wrapped utensil sets before disappearing behind the center bar.
no subject
"Why would I think that?"
Beat.
"Do you think he is cute?"
She seems genuinely perplexed.
no subject
"First of all, I'm too young, and second of all, he's not my type, and third of all, don't you think he'll be less irritated by Mom charging a whole bunch of stuff to him if he thinks you think he's cute?"
no subject
"Oh."
Beat.
"Okay."
As long as he doesn't try anything with actual sixteen year olds.
Or X will have to come back here and make him stop.
no subject
"One spaghetti bolognese and a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich with chocolate chips. And two Pepsis."
This being Oregon and all.
"Let me know if I can get you anything else."
no subject
In the tones of one who has been well-drilled by a parent to Be Polite To The Nice People In The New Town, No Really.
And Jamie digs in to the sandwich - it's awfully sweet, but really not that bad. He's certainly eaten worse.
no subject
X only sounds a little sullen. Or maybe that's embarrassed.
Then she, too, digs into her food.
It's oddly efficient for a teenager.
no subject
What could be more natural, from a kid moving into a new town, with new people?
If people smile at him, he smiles back.
no subject
She's paying a little more attention to scents and voices than to what people look like.
Being a sulky teenager is good for that.
no subject
"Okayready?"
no subject
"Yes."
no subject
"Didn't know Fargo was out on hiring trips..." Vincent wonders aloud.
no subject
They will not be here long enough for it to be a problem.
And, of course, once they are outside and moving, she clicks on SARAH's communicator.
It doesn't quite look like a cell phone, really, but body language is a very useful tool.
"We have established our cover and are heading to EG now. It will not take long."
